Changing colors?

When inserting a jpg file into a powerpoint, the colors
change drastically (for example - blue turns red and
yellow turns purple), has anyone else had this problem?

Any suggestion how to fix it?

Try to avoid using cut and paste to insert pictures into PowerPoint. You
will do well to get into the habit of saving any pictures/graphics to the
hard drive, then use the Insert | Picture | From file sequence within
PowerPoint.

I'm not doing a copy-paste, I'm using the Insert |
Picture | From file sequence. The picture inserted is a
wildly different color than the original. If I view
the .jpg file, it is mostly blue. When I do Insert |
Picture | From file, the result is mostly red. This is
using PowerPoint 2003 under Windows XP.

What are your Windows Display Settings? Right click the Desktop and select
Properties, click on settings. What is the Color quality set to?

It's Plug & Play Monitor on Intel(R) 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV
Graphics Controller. Screen resolution is 1024 x 768.
Color Quality is set to Highest (32 bit)
