Changing default margins in text box

I would like to change the default margins in a text box.
Help says to change them and then to click the box that
says to change default, but that box does not check. Does
anyone know how to change the margin defaults for text
boxes?

Hi Deacon,

This sounds like you are using Publisher 2002. If that is the case, you
cannot use this feature. That is a bug in the help system. Publisher 2003
introduced this feature however.

You could also download and install the default text add-in that allows you
to do this with Publisher 2002. I have the add-in available from my site as
well as a tutorial on how to use it:
