Changing default save location

I need to change the default save location for all software including Office
programs so that any user on a single computer with individual logins will be
directed to save to the Desktop instead of My Documents. Where do I need to
change this information? Please advise.

That is a very bad idea.. to change the default location of Office saves, go
to TOOLS - OPTIONS - File Locations tab..

But do NOT set the desktop as the save location.. create another directory
for them..

Mike,

This will not work. I have a domain setup where the users log in to the
computers with their own logins. Which means they have seperate folders in
Documents and Settings where their login information is stored. If you
change the save location in each Office program, it only changes the current
user logged in. I need to change this for all users logging into the
computer so that when they log in, the default location for the save is
c:\Documents and Settings\username\desktop. Please advise.

Thank you,

Matt
