Changing the colour of downloaded design templates

After downloading design templates from Microsoft Office Online, I wish to
change the colour of the template (as you can when in PowerPoint normaly),
but have not found a way of doing so. Please help. How can I?

It depends which templates you downloaded and how they were constructed.

View|Master|Slide Master.
