Changing the size of the text on template page: title&2columntext

H

Helenh

I'd like to change the size of text and size of area that the text goes into
on the slide layout "title & 2 column text".

NB I don't want to change the attributes of the Title & text page

I'd also like to change the attributes of the other slide layouts, so that
they are fixed as I want them to that template. Is there a way of doing this?

Thanks,
Helen

Helenh,
It is not possible to change the slide layouts individually. At least not
that I know off.
That said you could do something with multiple masters (PPT 2002/2003). Go
to View - Master - Master slide - on the toolbar click on the first button
to add a new master, select the object area an resize it using the handles,
select the text level you want to change and apply the wanted changes. For
your comfort click on the new name button and give the design a sensible
name. Now leave the master. Select all slides that need the different
layout, activate the template design task pane, hover over the thumbnails in
"the used in this presentation" section at the top of the pane, the name of
the master will appear, next to the changed master click on the arrow and
hit apply to selected slides.
Hope this helps.
