Changing the units of an image from centimeters to inches. ?

Hi folks. I have a quick question about units of measurement for images
and other types of objects (text boxes, etc..).

I have a mockup in word 2007, for the sake of this discussion, lets say it
is a picture of a business card for example. I want
to send this to the printer, they will take a image file (.jpeg, .png,
etc...),
but they have a specification for the size of the mockup in inches, say 3.05
X 5.0 for example. My MSWORD defines the size of the image as
centimeters. When selecting the image with the mouse and right clicking on
it, then choosing "format object" from the popup menu, then tabbing over to
"size" the "Height" and "Width" parameters are specified in (cm). How can I
go about changing this to inches instead ? Yes, a conversion formula is
available, but since I need to do this over and over with different size
images that will map to different specifications, I want to just set this up
once and then work with "inches" instead of "cm".

My settings :

Office 2007
Windows XP

You can use any valid type of measurement in the size dialog. If you want
inches just type 3.05" in the box and the dialog will convert it to the
equivalent measurement units you have setup in Word Options for the
application - in your case 7.75cm. If you want the *dialogs* to display
inches then set that Word Option (Advanced > Display > Show Measurements in
Units of) to inches'
