Clipboard and delete problems

If I highlight a word and use the delete key and then try to paste the
information I had in the clipboard...it is replaced by the deleted
information? is there a fix for this?

The other problem is when wanting to delete highlighted information when you
hit the delete key it always asks me to type yes I am sure. is there a way
to turn this feature off?

Sounds like you have some WordPerfect settings turned on. For the second one,
go to Tools->Options, General tab and uncheck "Navigation keys for
WordPerfect Users". Unchecking this will stop the "Delete Block No (Yes)".

Not sure about the first problem, but probably similar feature is turned on.

If you can't get it, what version of Word are you using?
