How do you increase the amount of data the clipboard can store?

A message tells me I do not have enough resources and/or "unable to open
clipboard"

I copy/cut & paste large quatities of data.

From Word 2003 Help.

"I can't add more items to the Office Clipboard.

There may be large items on the Office Clipboard The Office Clipboard
may stop adding items — even if there are fewer than 24 — if you copy
large items to it. The Office Clipboard stores a maximum of
one-sixteenth of the amount of physical memory on your computer. "

Answer would appear to be Add System memory.

Thank you Bob.

Will I need to increase my RAM or would increasing my pageing file/ virtual
memory solve the problem?

there are third party
software that can provide
enhance clip board features.

if i recall, the clippings
can be saved as tiny little files
on the harddisk.

then you can recall the clippings
selectivly.

you can go to most
freeware download sites
and query: clipboard

Since the note specifically states physical memory, "page file/virtual
memory" wouldn't cut it, you will have to add "RAM".
