Collate Checkbox

Hi
Hoping someone can help
This is the same on office2000, Office XP and Office 2003. ( Word, Excel,
Access, PowerPoint ect)

When I go File Print the collate checkbox is checked by default.
When I uncheck this box close office.
open office go to file print the checkbox is again checked.
I want this collate checkbox unchecked by default.
Hope someone can help
