Colour Pallett

Is is possible to create/customize the colour pallett in Excel and save it rather than having to modify the standard colours each time when creating a new workbook? I don't necessarily want to use the same colours (copy from......) as previous. I am used to Lotus where there are several variations available for each standard colour;no modification required. Can I create my own pallett and use it each time I'm in a workbook? Is is possible to copy the pallett that exisits in Lotus to Excel

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks very much.

Hi
you could create a workbook template with your new color palette and
base your new files on your own template. Search the Excel help for
'Template'

Thanks much for your speedy response. I'll give your suggestion a try this evening. (Too bad there isn't spell check in this format - I just realized I spelled palette wrong not once but three times in my query! Good grief.

Have a great day
