I have two combo boxes. the 1st one has a list of names and the 2nd one has a
list of their phone numbers. i have both combo boxes populating from one
another. So when you pick a name from combo box 1 the phone number shows up
for that person in box 2. what i am having a problem with is when i don't
have that person in the list and want to add it manually when i type the name
and then set focus to the phone number to type that in the name disappears
and vise versa if i type the phone number in the go back to add the name the
phone number disappears. What I would like to happen is if you select a name
or phone number the combo boxes will populate with the right data but if you
want to enter it manually it will not delete the data you have enter. I hope
this make sense, any help would be great. Thanks so much. Erik
