Compact and Repair – Status? Date/Time Stamp?

Does Access store information about Compact and Repairs that are done? I
would like to see if an “automated†Compact and Repair was done successfully
and the date/time that it was done.

I vaguely recalling someone remarking that the LastUpdated property of
fields in a table incorrectly reports last C & R time rather than the
actual last time the field itself was updated.

You know what they say about bugs... sometime it's just undocumented
features! <G>

PS If my memory is in fact correct and this behavior is manifested, it
may be unwise to use it in production as you'll never know when this
"feature" is broken.
