% complete does not appear to be working?

When I update the % complete on a subtask, the summary tast does not update
automatically. How can I get this to happen?

I figured out what my problem was....I had created a circular ref with
assigned dependancies, causing no calcualtions to be performed on the
project. Once I fixed the dependancy, the %s are working again.
