% Complete not Rolling Up to Summary Task

For some reason, my % complete is not rolling up from the task/subtasks to
the summary tasks/activities.

Can someone please help me to correct this?

Thanks,
Anna

Is recalculate set to "automatic" (Tools, Options, Calculation)? Are you
entering "% Complete" or "% Physical Complete"? HOW are you posting %
Complete to the tasks, what field are you entering it in?

Calculate is set to "automatic". I initially only entered % complete in the
"% Physical Complete" column. Then I went back and entered % complete for
each task in the "Task Information - General" tab, in the % complete box. I
thought this would correct the problem but it did not.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Anna

Anna,
Maybe I'm taking your post too literally but you mention that % Complete
is not "rolling up" to the Summary Line. In Project % Complete values do
NOT roll up, rather, they are calculated by Project using the formula:
Summary % Complete = [sum of performance subtask Actual Durations]/[sum
of performance subtask Durations] x 100%. A similar formula is used for
% Work Complete. If you are expecting the % Complete or % Work Complete
to be some other value at a Summary Line, try using the above formulas.

If % Complete on your Summary Lines is zero and one or more of the
performance subtasks have non-zero values (assuming the subtasks are not
zero duration milestones) and Calculation is set to automatic, you might
try running Detect and Repair (Help/Detect & Repair).

Hope this helps.
