Completion Dates

I am using MS Project 2003 (upgraded from Project 2000) today. I assume that
completion dates are not the same as finish dates but I am not sure. Can
someone please confirm? If they are not the same, how do you enter a
completion date?

Hi Cloudburst99,

I would call the Actual Finish the actual completion date. The Finish date
I would call the projected completion date and the Baseline Finish I would
call the targeted completion date. There are several ways to enter the
Actual Finish date for a task, but the Tracking Table (View>Table>Tracking)
is a nice way to see Actual Start, Actual Finish, Actual and Remaining
Duration.

Hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Julie
