compresing mdb file

when i compress my mdb file in comuter A it becomes 10 mb
when i compress the same file in comuter B it goes down to 7 mb

any one knows why?

Check the settings on the zipping program (I assume you're using the same
program on both PCs). One may be set to use a more compressed setting
(usually, there is a Normal and a Large Compression or something like that
setting).

Sorry, i mean compresing the mdb with the repair and compress utility in the
access menu
not by an external zip program

You are referring to the Compact and Repair Database menu item, right?
Hmmm.... can't say that I've seen this, but I don't think you need to worry
about it.
