computer problems

My computer keeps blacking out then it later turns off by it self is the
copmuter blowing up?

Sounds like either the CPU or power supply is overheating.
Take it to the shop before it gets ruined.

If you see a flash, a lot of pieces of the computer flying out from where
the computer was, and hear a loud explosion, the computer is blowing up.
Generally, this sort of thing happens rather quickly. If you typed this
question on the same computer, you can be almost completely sure that it is
NOT blowing up.

Check your power saving settings - right click on the desk-top,
Properties, Screen Saver tab

Well, Steve, I have hosed my computer, fried my computer, wiped out my
Operating System, my FAT, and several other similar incidents. But I have
yet to see ANY computer blow up. ;-)

Yep..but first check to see if the fans are running. Then unplug it and
vacuum out the dust bunnies and corn flakes that have accumulated over the
years and try it again.

I've seen ( actually I should say heard ) things blow up inside of them, but I've never
seen the whole computer blow up.
