Configuring Office XP setup

Will

I'm using the CIW to set up an Office xp administrative installation point.
It's xp pro, so it will install powerpoint, word, excel, and access. But
I'm creating the transform file so it doesn't install Outlook as we don't
use it. It also won't prompt the user for any options and they will only
see a progress bar appear during the install.

What I want to know, after this package is all created and is tested and
works, that one instance where I want Outlook installed, how would I
accomplish this?

Can i run setup from the command line overriding the mst file and allow me
to just run the complete install of office, and prompt me for all the
options i want?

Thank you!

But if I do that, I end up with thow MST files.....how do I go about
switching between them?

Is manually editing the setup.ini file the only way? And by manual I mean
literally editing the INI file or using the setup maintenance wizard...

Thanks

You could take the existing MST into the CIW and then Save it as a NEW mst
(called WithOL.MST) and include Outlook as an app to install by this mst
file.

In the install directory, create two batch files. One calls:

"\\server\share\office2003\setup.exe" TRANSFORMS="\\server\share\office2003\noOL.mst" (plus any other desired switches)

and the other calls:

"\\server\share\office2003\setup.exe" TRANSFORMS="\\server\share\office2003\withOL.mst" (plus any other desired switches)
