Conflict with Outlook and Word 2003

I have a user that has started experiencing something odd. With Word open and
Outlook open she can go to Outlook to create a message. Whether she sends the
message, saves the message or closes without saving... she gets kicked out of
Word. It is sporatic at best and there have been no event logs showing
errors. I recently did a rebuild and I was testing before deploying to the
user incurring the issue... while testing I experienced the same symptom. I
have never seen this before and have been chasing it over a week. Any
suggestions?

That is a strange one... the only thing i would suggest after all else fails:

Uninstall Office.
Run Windows Updates.
Spyware/Hijacker/Virus removal.
Office Install
Run Office Updates.
