connecting

MS Outlook 2000

I am having problems connecting to MS outlook 2000. It is
not accepting my name and password. I had no problems
connecting yesterday. My ISP is pop and smtp. The previous
person told me to contact them,but I have not idea what
this means. How do I contact the the ISP?

Also- it's apparent from reading some of the other
questions that I am not the only one having a problem
connecting today. I think there is a problem at MSN that
has to be addressed!! I live in NJ is there a problem in
this area?

I am having problems connecting to MS outlook 2000.

For goodness sake you do NOT "connect" to Outlook. It is a PROGRAM on your
machine.

If your mail is MSN then go to the MSN web site and check a) the mail
settings (MSN is NOT POP and SMTP so that is wrong for a start) and b)
whether the MSN server is down or not.
