connecting

Hi All,

I’m having this problem when connecting to project server
with project pro. I was wondering if anybody else has seen
this before. When I connect to the server with project
pro, it asks me if I want to make the server * Trusted* I
hit OK and then it asks me again if I want to add the
server to the trusted sites and then it goes through. What
can be done to avoid this?

It seemed that you are using IE6 that has an enhanced
security option. You could get rid of it by:

1. uninstall the security option
2. or install and config a DNS server in your LAN, and
then using the URL like
http://xxx.yourdomain.com/projectserver, because IE6's
security feature think the format of
http://machinename/projectserver is incorrect, it decides
the URL format must be something like http://ddd.yyy, but
not http://ccc
