Consolidated / Master Plan progress roll-up

When I open a plan on its own all the tasks and milestones that make up that
plan roll up into the plan summary level, which shows that the plan starts at
the earliest activity and progress is correctly recorded.

When I open the same files as one part of a consolidated / master plan
something strange happens. Some tasks are now not rolled up into the top
level plan summary line. The summary line shows the individual sub-plan
started some time after the earliest activities in the sub-plan

Why would this happen ?????

Assuming your Master project is not corrupted, what you need to do is open
every single plan and every single rolled up task in each plan within the
master project for it to update correctly.

I only have one sub-plan that does this when i bring it into a master/
consolidated plan. All others come in fine. This makes me thinks is a setting
in that one sub-plan that is causing this effect.

I tried what you suggested - but it did not work
