What is the file extension for the file that contains
saved contacts and where can it be found in a windows 2k
Environment? I need to copy it to another user

Do you mean the contacts folder in Outlook? If so backup the pst. This
will backup everything

If your using outlook back up the pst However you may also be requireing the
WAB if your using a shared address book in outlook 2000 Do a search for
..wab files on your system and export them as well
