Contacts Easy?

I'm sure this is an easy question but I am in at the deep end, I'm sure you
can guess the situation...

I have a colleague who has several contact folders and wants to consolidate
them i.e have a single folder. There seems to be several 'accounts' and I
have tried outlook help but export and import of *.pst doesn't seem to
achieve what is needed.

Sorry if these is a simple question but any help would be greatly
appreciated, Outlook 2000 SR-1 on exchange server in W2K

I'm sure this is an easy question but I am in at the deep end, I'm sure you
can guess the situation...

Why can't you just open those *.pst files and copy those contacts into
the main Contacts folder?
