Controlling Printer Properties through macros

Ithaca

Hello all!

I've got a little macro setup to print a document (numbered sequentially) to
a specif, non-default printer and had it set to staple the documents as they
printed but now the staple feature is not working in the macro. i think it
was working before because it was a temporary setting that I had done prior
to running the macro. Well, now I'd like to make that happen thriugh the
macro.

How do I go about controlling the staple option (in the printer properties
window) using macros? This really becomes an issue whe I will disperse the
macro to other users in my office.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I'm not aware of any means to control the staple option programatically. You
probably need to contact the printer manufacturer to see if there there is
any feature within the printer driver you can call. Controlling printers
from VBA is often rather tricky.
