Conversing Publisher 2002 to MS Word?

Is it possible to convert a Publisher 2002 paycheck stuff to a Microsoft Word
template?

Copy/paste? Is it all text? Save the Publisher file as "files of type" as a
plain text document or .rft (rich text) or a Word document.
