Conversion of Word 2003 table to database

B

Birgitte

I have made an alphabetic list set up in a Word 2003 table. So far I have
been able to sort the table, but I fear imminent problems as the tables has
reached a size op 150 pages!

Any idea how to transform the table into a database - which office program
to use?

Yes, this will most likely cause you problems. In fact, I'm surprised
it hasn't yet.

You can select the table, click Table > Convert Table to Text. Choose
a comma or tab to separate the columns. You can then use Access or
Excel to import that data into a new format.
