convert office 7.0 documents to proffesional

I have updated my original office 7.0 version to windows professional but
unfortunatly on some saved documents in word and microsoft spreadsheet files
i am unable to open. Is there a converter that i can install to retreive my
saved work.

Which version of Office do you have now? (The version of Windows is pretty
much not an issue.)
