Do yall have a trick to convert a PDF to text (without Adobe, the rich
person's application)? I use PrimoPDF to generate PDFs. Thanks!

You can try a copy and paste but the results are iffy. I use ScanSoft's PDF
Convert and have had varied levels of success.

It's an option but that would start to get ugly. You'd lose most/all
formatting and graphics.

Iffy? Hmm. I was hoping for another free solution by using microsoft
tools I already have. But, thanks for the idea, JoAnn.

Can you use the snapshot tool in the Reader & copy?

Interesting idea but it's not editable. It's not very sharp either -
everything I grabbed was very blurry. Thanks for the idea, Mary.

It was just one but I got in touch with the person who made the original
so I'm good. :)

visual integrity

Using pdf2picture you can convert any graphics drawing or form saved in PDF
file
to Windows native graphics format (WMF or EMF). All text/vector objects can
be edited using MS drawing tools.

See http://www.pdf2picture.com for more information.

Thanks, looks interesting. I was hoping for freeware :)
