Convert pub to Word.doc using Zamzar.com

I looked at the earlier responses to converting publisher files to Word .doc
files. They are all old questions in 2007.

I found a site called www.zamzar.com that claims they can convert .pub files
to .doc files. Should I try it?

I am using Vista and Office 2007. My document is in Microsoft Publisher
2007. It includes 20 jpeg pictures. I want to convert theh entire 9 MB
document to Word 2003 (.doc).

Do you know a utility to convert? Should I try Zamzar?

There is a free conversion, have you tried it? Were you satisfied with the
result? Did the format carry over? Did you have to do a lot of tweaking?

I converted a 16 page booklet from Pub 2003 to word.doc, and while I
couldn't say it was terrible, it was not good enough to be used for
anything. Many fonts were converted to garbage characters, some .gifs were
converted to horrible jaggy things. The file gave you the idea of the
original, but it wasn't really usable.
