Convert text to numbers.

Is there a way to convert numbers ENTERED AS TEXT to
ACTUAL NUMBERS so I can easily add the columns?

In an empty cell, enter the number 1. Edit>Copy. Select your "numbers".
Edit>Paste Special, check Multiply.

paste special, add, and click OK

Try this Danny

Copy a empty cell
Select the cells with text numbers
Right click on the selection
Choose Paste Special
Check Add
Ok
