converters

I am working with frontpage 2003. When I open up my website and click on the
opening page in design view I get a message telling me it needs a converter
to view these pages and do I want to download one. If I click yes it will try
to import one then give me a 1706 error message saying it couldn't find a
path to frontpage 2000 or something like that. then if I click no or cancel
it pops up a format to RTF and then opens a page written in some sort of
code. I tried downloading a converter from microsofts website but I'm still
getting the message. If I open it in preview mode it opens right up. It only
does this on the first 2 pages. I can open other pages in my sight without
getting this message. Any ideas? Thanks Jen

What type of files and/or what program created them?

Thanks anyway, but I fixed it. I needed to rename a file. Frontpage thought
it was an old file and needed a converter to read it. Changed the name and it
workes great. One of those duh! moments
