converting a file to pdf?

Is it possible to save a file created in Publisher as a pdf? Or a way to
convert one to a pdf file?

Any help is really appreciated!

Thanks!

The Microsoft Plug-in does seem to work really well. It is simple and easy to
use. I don't know what the free version of Primo has to offer.

Erika,

I have both and I find that I rarely use the add-in. Yes, it works but since
I use more programs than just Office, I find it's easier to always make my
..pdf files one way. PrimoPDF now allows you to append multiple files to a
..pdf, which I do now and then. The add-in doesn't do that.

One can argue that it's "easier" to do a Save As than do go thru Primo's
process but a few extra clicks is not that big a deal. I'm busy, don't get
me wrong. Some days I feel like I need to schedule time to powder my nose.
If I ever get to the point where the time it takes to go thru two or three
mouse clicks is more time than I have, I'm going to re-evaluate my life!
Something would have to go and it wouldn't be PrimoPDF.

John, is the Microsoft add-in an improvement over PrimoPDF? Thanks for
your opinion!

The Microsoft add-in gives better support for transparency than
PrimoPDF, is (IMO) nicer to use than PrimoPDF (it gives a standard Save
As dialog rather than a pop-up in the background pointing to the last
place you saved a PDF), gives (I think) tagged PDF output that is better
for users with disabilities than PrimoPDF's output, and keeps hyperlinks
active (beyond the functionality provided by Reader).

Resolution has an effect on size. But image compression has just as big
of an effect. You can have a extremely high resolution graphic (2400
dpi) that is compressed 95% may only be a hundred kilobytes or less.
Images from my 8.1 megapixel camera are about 4MB with super high
quality JPEG compression. But when you edit the image it is almost 18MB
uncompressed.
