I just started working a new company and many mobile users
are set up to download messages to personal folders
(.pst). I have been preaching .ost loudly, but when I
tried to convert one user yesterday it didn't go well.
This man has 1.7 GB of mail organized granularly into
many, many subfolders. The import from pst was messy and
he had to catch a plane so I could get it done in time.
I've set up Remote Mail the way he's used to on my laptop
and everything's peachy because I have barely any mail. He
wants ALL of his folders to synchronise whenever he dials
in because he moves stuff around constantly. Am I fighting
a losing battle here? Will the synchronisation with
offline folders take way too long each time so that it
will make him unhappy?
