Converting max units to hrs (resource allocation stoplight chart)

PRJ 2K3 Standard:

Hello all.

How do i create a stoplight chart that would show resources allocated above
50 hours (say...out of 60 total hours) a defineable week and resources that
are only allocated 40 hrs a week. Basic resource (over/under) allocation
report.

I understand that PRJ uses max units in % numbers to designate assignment,
but I was going to create a custom [number3] field to capture the number and
then do graphical indicators. But since its in max units, it wouldn't
apropriate to use.

Do I need to calculate a formula in [number3] that converts the [max units]
#'s to hours or is there a field that I can directly use? Help.

Have you looked at the Resource Usage view from the View menu? With it
selected, change the time scale to weekly (Click the magnifying glass icon
twice) and you have your assigned hours per week report.
