Converting normal tasks to recurring tasks

I am importing several tasks from excel and/or access and need to convert a
normal task to a recurring task. Is that possible in MS Project?

RP --

There is no default method for doing so in Microsoft Project. You will need
to create the recurring task manually and then delete the normal task upon
which the recurring task is based. Hope this helps.
