Converting web to regular .Pub

I have a newsletter that I created in MS Pub 2000 in
Windows 2000 Pro. I converted it to a web page in order to
display it on my website, now I need to use it as a
regular .Pub file in order to do a mail merge from my
Access 2000 DB and it won't let me. The "Open data source
is grayed out, regardless of what I try. I spent the last
3 hours trying to find a solution everywhere and went
through all 38 pages of this forum to no avail. Could
somebody help me please.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Pub to Web a one-way ticket if
you don't have the original file - I've never used it so I wouldn't really
know.

I found the solution! Create a blank newsletter and save
it with a different name, then copy and paste everything
from the original, once finished save all. The .pub will
show the "Open Data Source". Hope this helps somebody
else.

Yes Epona, it's definitely a one way ticket! But luckily I
found the work around, which I already posted. Thanks
anyway.
