Copy and paste pivot table?

Is there a way to copy the data resulting from a pivot table and paste it to
an ordinary spreadsheet? I need to manipulate the data to create a chart,
and cannot do this until the pivot table is complete.

Hi Carole

if you copy the pivot table, choose the destination cell and then edit /
paste special - select values
you will end up with what i think you may be after but i'm a bit confused
abou the "cannot do this until the pivot table is complete" bit in your
question.

Hi Carole
If u will select the whole pivot table for copy then pivot table will
be copied.
To get ur desired results don't select the filters of pivot table only
select the data without headings & paste it on any other location. now
u can edit the data.
