Hi,
I wonder if something could be cleared up. I noticed in a previous post by
Mike Glen the following statement:
"When you create a calendar you have the option of creating a New calendar or
basing it on a Copy of the Standard calendar. If you choose the latter,
then any changes you make to the Standard calendar will affect the others.
If you don't want that, then select the New option."
I interpreted this to mean that after you had created a new calendar based
on a copy of the standard calendar, any changes that were made to the
standard calendar would be propagated to the new calendar i.e. the new
calendar remained "linked" to the Standard calendar. This does not seem to be
the case (MSP2000) - a "copy" the standard calendar creates a new,
stand-alone copy which is unaffected by any subsequent changes to the
Standard calendar.
I don't have any beef either way, I just wanted to check that what I am
seeing from Project is expected behaviour. Apologies if I've misinterpreted
the post!
Cheers
