copying existing function

I have found a function that I would like to be able to call from any
spreadsheet in Excel. Currently, it only operates in a particular
spreadsheet.

Could someone outline the steps I need to take to make this work? If it is a
copy and paste solution, where do I want it to end up? My thanks in
advance. Brad
