copying from one worksheet to another

I would like to transfer data from my checkbook ledger worksheet to 4 different accounting worksheets without having to hand enter everything individually. Is there a way to sort or transfer that would accomplish this?

You could use an Advanced Filter to send data to separate sheets. There
are examples here:

Under Filters, look for: 'Update Sheets from Master' (AdvFilterCity.xls)
and under Function - 'Extract Items with Formulas' (CopyToWkbk.xls)
