Core Page

I am using Shared Borders in a Frontpage 2002 web-site.
The borders contain elements I want to appear on every
page. However, I want to build a Core (initial) Page
introducing the site to the visitor that will not have a
shared border. How do I do this? I know that a lot of
sites have an introductory/core page with sound, motion,
graphics, etc. on which you can click anywhere to enter
the site and/or which throws the visitor into the site
after an elapsed time. How it this done?

Just a shot in the dark, but try opening a new page then
right click on the page. Select shared borders and then
select the "current page" and remove the shared border
check boxes.

What you are trying to do is commonly called a "splash" page
- Intro page unrelated to the web content and not your home page in the main site
If your host supports subwebs, Publish your existing web to a subweb
Then in the root web delete all pages and content, except your home page,
and set a link from it to the home page of your subweb
For an Example see http://ppsilive.com/
