Cradle Task

Does anyone remember the steps/settings for a Cradle Task, i.e. the Project Management task.

Duration starts the same time as task 1 and ends the same time as the last task of the project, and changes as the project progresses. If PM Work is Fixed, Units changes, and if Units is fixed Work changes.

Robert, it's Tools > Options > View. Check "Project Summary Task." OK.

Thanx DDM.

Yes, this will show the total dureation, start/finish of the project. A Hammock task (see Rob Schneider post) is a task within the project and is intended to include a resource. It expands/contracts as the duration of specific tasks changes.

Lots of good stuff on your site.
