create custom calendar

I tried creating a customer calendar for a summary tasks. When I applied it
the duration and date remained the same. I expected the date to get earlier
since I created a calendar for 7 days a week of work instead of 5 days a week
of work.
I also wanted the remaining project to be stanadrd calendar. How can I
accomplish this and check to make sure the change actually works?

See my previous answer. You will note than any calendar changes you make
will only affect data entered in the future. You'll need to re-enter the
Durations.

Apply your custom calendar to the subtasks, not to the summary.
