What menu do you use to get the proper margins for different size post cards,
4.25 x 5.5; 4 x 6; 5.5 x 8? I do not need a template. I will create my own
design.

First: THANK YOU FOR NOT USING A TEMPLATE!!!! I am so glad to see that at
least one person is willing to start from scratch and use some creativity!

Second: Page setup.

Are you creating each postcard differently or will all the postcards be the
same?

If they are all going to be the same then page setup is the way to go. Click
custom for the 5.5 x 8.5, landscape, type 5.5 width, 8.5 height. (vice versa for
portrait). Publisher will say it will print two copies per sheet.

If you are creating postcards individually, look at the page setup for the 4 x 6
postcards, click change copies per sheet, make a note of the margins and gaps.
When you create your publication manually these margins and gaps will be where
you place your outside guidelines. Use more guidelines to establish your inside
margins.
