Create pdf object

Hi, is there a way to create a pdf object so that I can get a page count? I
know you can open a pdf document using a hyperlink but how do you create an
pdf object? Thanks.

Check out Cute on the web. They have a pdf writer.

I have Adobe on pc but I want to be able to get the page count of an existing
pdf document.
