Creating a download hyperlink in Word that WORKS!!

I have created a hyperlink that I know works, and inserted
into a Word document (Word X for Mac), yet it says it
cannot download the info, unable to open--
It is a direct link to a mp3 file, that works fine from a
site--
How do I do this?

Thanks--I was able to correct this--there was no way I knew
to paste the link in, so I had copied it wrong, then found
out about the command V and it works fine now-
