A pst file can only be created by Outlook or by using the Exmerge tool
against a mailbox/message store. You need to explain with a bit more detail
what you are trying to do.
Exmerge download is here http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...EC-DCDF-47DC-96DA-1C12D67327D5&displaylang=en
but knowing a bit more about what you want to do then I would log into this
mailbox from a workstation and then create a pst in outlook and drag the
items into it. You need to make sure on what version of Outlook you are
using and the version of Outlook that the person you are sending the pst
file to as there is differences in the format of pst file dependant on
version.
I really desire to know how to use this exmerge tool. Thanks for the support
- I will get down to it and revert the outcome in a while. Don't go too far,
cheers
I have only ever used on the server, (used it once a million years ago) a
lot more experienced people in the Exchange Newsgroups would give better
advice than me though.
