Creating a "Top Ten" List -- Animate Each Line of Text

D

Dick Carlson

I'm creating a series of "Top Ten" lists, and I want each line of text to fly
in on a click. If I use a single text block, the only option is to fly them
in together or timed -- and I want to be able to step them in manually as
they're read.

I know I could create single text blocks and animate each, but these will be
edited and I'm sure they'd get moved around.

Any elegant solutions I'm missing?

You should be able to use the "group by" X-level paragraphs on the animation
settings. Is that not working for you?

Guess I was just being dense -- it works fine now -- thanks!

Hey, sometimes it's hard to find the forest for the trees. Glad we could
help you find that branch. <g>

Dick,
If you want to see a true "Top Ten" effect, turn on "Reverse order". Brings
the list in bottom to top just like Dave :)

I believe life is meant to be lived. But:
if we live without making a difference, it makes no difference that we lived
