creating extract

Hi I need to create an extract with the goal to create a "to do" list for my
developers. The issue is the summary task has the description of the
"feature" and the subtasks the SDLC steps with the resource assignment. I
have filters built to select extract for specific resources so I can create
one extract per person. the issue I'm having is the export I cannot seem to
get the subtask out with the coresponding summary task? I need the summary
task as "programming" doesn't mean a whole lot without knowing the feature to
program. As well on the Summary task I have customized columns for things
like install date, priority, unique identifier #, etc. I'd like the
customized fields exported too. I've tried several things but nothing to
what I need.

I think you need to get a custom VBA solution developed for you. I recommend
exporting a Who Does What Where list to Excel from where you can slice and
dice the information as you need.

If you can provide the data you need exported in the form of a manually
created Excel file plus a corresponding Project file then it shouldn't take
more than around 2 hours to refine needs, then half to 2 days to develop
depending on your needs and around half a day in hand for changes once you
get to play with the end results.

I or a number of others in this group can do this for you.
